Dear Student,

There is nothing more important in life than learning what it means to have an intimate relationship
with Almighty God and living that out moment by moment in our daily lives. Through an
educational experience at Nicolet Bible Institute, you will have the opportunity to learn God's
Word and immediately apply it to your life.

Many young people today have grown up hearing God's Word taught only on Sunday mornings
at their church and perhaps in Sunday School. As they enter the secular college scene, they find
they are not equipped to handle the challenges thrown at them by their new college friends and
faculty. Many students who receive their education at secular universities and trade schools
never have the opportunity to really spend the necessary time learning the Scriptures and learning
to serve.

The Nicolet Bible Institute has been created to generate indigenous missionaries who enter the
front line of evangelism in various professions. Factory workers, doctors, lawyers, chefs, and
others like them are in the best position to reach their secular world with the Gospel message,
yet many remain untrained and unmotivated. After a year at NBI some students will take jobs in
their communities and start their missionary careers at home, while others will serve in ministry
careers or on mission fields overseas, all as servants of our King.

It is our vision that the students who complete the Nicolet Bible Institute program will leave with
a solid Biblical foundation, a passion to serve others, and an appetite to evangelize their world.
We need Christians in all walks of life who know God, know His Word, and are committed to serving
our King in the local church.

The Nicolet Bible Institute is not for everyone, but it is an important option for those who choose
to serve our King in a secular or ministry setting. Students have come to us from all over the
United States and inquiries have come from all over the world. Some students intend to continue
their ministry education, some have already graduated from college, and some are planning
to head right into a secular work-world ministry.

Craig Olson

I was a student during the 04-05 year. After leaving NBI I attended Trinity International University and graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies.

I am currently the Program Director at Silver Birch Ranch.

While at NBI I was able to get away from the normal grind of life and really experience ministry in a new way. I learned a lot through the classes and was able to use it while working with retreat groups on the weekends. While at Nicolet I really felt a calling into student ministry. Going to NBI and working at SBR gave me the opportunity to work with students from all over and really decide if it was what I wanted to do. Nicolet really prepared me for ministry and life. My year spent at NBI has really impacted me and shaped me into who I am today.
